SEN Teacher - All-Through Specialist School (Corby) | Complex Needs | Permanent Opportunity

We are proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and well-established all-through specialist school in Corby, catering for pupils with a wide range of complex needs, including autism (ASC), physical disabilities, and significant medical needs. The school is seeking a committed and compassionate SEN Teacher to join their team, initially via Tradewind Recruitment, with a permanent opportunity available for the right educator.

This all-through provision supports pupils from primary through to secondary age, offering continuity, consistency, and a highly personalised approach to learning. The school places a strong emphasis on inclusion, communication, and holistic development, ensuring that every pupil is supported academically, socially, and emotionally.

The successful SEN Teacher will work within small class sizes, supported by skilled teaching assistants and a wider multi-disciplinary team including therapists and medical professionals. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs, using strategies such as visual supports, sensory integration approaches, and alternative communication methods (including PECS, Makaton, and AAC where appropriate).

We welcome applications from:

  • Qualified Teachers (QTS/QTLS) with SEN experience

  • Teachers from mainstream settings looking to transition into SEN

  • ECTs with relevant placements or experience in specialist education

Key qualities for this role include patience, adaptability, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting pupils with complex needs. Experience working with autism, physical disabilities, or medical needs is highly desirable, but not essential, as the school offers strong induction, training, and ongoing CPD.
