Graduate Teaching Assistant - Step Into Teaching | Daventry | Via Tradewind Recruitment

Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Teaching Assistants to work in schools across Daventry, supporting pupils and gaining invaluable classroom experience.

This role is ideal for graduates who are considering teacher training in the future and want to build confidence, skills, and practical experience before applying for routes such as PGCE, SCITT, or School Direct. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support learning in the classroom, deliver small group interventions, and provide one-to-one support where needed.

You will have the opportunity to work across a range of year groups and settings, depending on your interests and experience. Responsibilities may include supporting pupils with their learning, helping to manage classroom behaviour, preparing learning resources, and contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment. No formal teaching qualification is required, just a proactive attitude and a genuine interest in education.

We welcome applications from graduates in all subject areas, particularly those with degrees in education-related subjects, psychology, English, maths, science, or humanities. Experience working with children or young people (such as tutoring, mentoring, youth work, or volunteering) is desirable but not essential.
