Mental Health Specialist (Within Schools) - Corby
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Mental Health Specialist to work within school settings across the Corby area, supporting children and young people with their emotional wellbeing and mental health needs.

The Role
As a Mental Health Specialist within schools, you will:
Provide targeted mental health and wellbeing support to pupils
Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions within the school setting
Support pupils with anxiety, low mood, emotional regulation, and behavioural needs
Work closely with school staff, SENCOs, and pastoral teams
Liaise with external professionals and families where appropriate
Help promote a positive, safe, and inclusive school environment
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should:
Hold a relevant qualification in mental health, psychology, counselling, or a related field
Have experience working with children or young people in a school or educational setting
Demonstrate a strong understanding of mental health needs within schools
Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Be able to work in schools across the Corby area
Hold, or be willing to apply for, an enhanced DBS check
