Psychology Graduate
SEMH / ASC Specialist School

Blackpool

We are seeking a motivated Psychology Graduate to support pupils within a small nurture class (up to 5 children) in our SEMH / ASC specialist school.

This role is ideal for a graduate with an interest in child psychology, autism and emotional regulation, looking to gain hands-on experience in a specialist setting.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils within a small nurture class alongside the teacher

  • Providing emotional, behavioural and learning support

  • Using trauma-informed and autism-aware approaches

  • Supporting EHCP targets and individual plans

  • Helping create a calm, structured learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Psychology graduate (or related degree)

  • Experience or strong interest in SEMH and ASC

  • Calm, patient and resilient

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
