Full-Time Cover Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a confident and committed Full-Time Cover Teacher to work across secondary schools in the Wellingborough and Rushden area.

This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers, ECTs, or experienced cover staff looking for a stable, full-time role within supportive local schools.

The Role:

As a Full-Time Cover Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects

  • Provide effective classroom management and maintain high expectations of behaviour

  • Ensure continuity of learning in the absence of the regular class teacher

  • Adapt lesson delivery to meet the needs of different learners

  • Build positive relationships with students and staff

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) is desirable but not essential

  • Experience teaching or covering classes at secondary level

  • Confident delivering lessons and managing behaviour effectively

  • Flexible, professional, and reliable

  • Strong communication and organisational skills
