This is a flexible role, ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals with experience working with young people who are looking for rewarding work that fits around other commitments.

The Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into the classroom to supervise pupils during the short-term absence of teaching staff. You will deliver pre-planned work, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure students remain on task.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising classes across a range of subjects using set lesson plans

  • Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies

  • Ensuring a safe, positive, and productive learning environment

  • Supporting pupils with their work where appropriate

  • Reporting back to teaching staff at the end of the day
