Graduate Teaching Assistants
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time (5 days per week)
Location: Tower Hamlets Primary School
A friendly, inclusive and welcoming two-form entry primary school are looking to secure Graduate Teaching Assistants to join their school from September 2026.
This role is ideal for graduates who are considering a future career in education, psychology, speech and language therapy or a related field, and who are keen to gain valuable, hands-on experience in a primary school setting.
Experience within a school is not required however a genuine desire to support children in more than likely Y3 and Y4 (subject to change) is essential.
The role will involve:
Supporting pupils' learning in class, in small groups and on a one-to-one basis
Working closely with class teachers to support teaching and learning
Helping to create a positive, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
Supporting pupils with a range of needs, including SEND
Contributing to the wider life of the school

Pay rates of between £90 -£100 are being offered.
We are looking for candidates who:
Hold a degree (or are graduating in summer 2026)
Are enthusiastic, patient and proactive
Have a genuine interest in working with children
Are reliable, reflective and keen to learn
Work well as part of a team
This is a full-time position (5 days per week) during term time, 8Am - 4Pm.
