Tradewind are recruiting! Are you looking for your next role teaching Geography in a school located in Lambeth?

Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be working with this client, a well-regarded 11-18 mixed comprehensive secondary school in Lambeth, to recruit a committed and enthusiastic Geography Teacher. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about their subject and keen to inspire students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (with Key Stage 5 opportunities depending on experience).

  • Start date: January
  • Contract: Maternity cover
  • Salary: London MPS
  • Working pattern: Full-time (part-time may be considered for the right candidate)

As a Geography Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Promote curiosity and critical thinking about the world and its people.
  • Assess, track and support pupil progress effectively.
  • Contribute to the wider Humanities department and school community.
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a genuine passion for Geography and education.
  • Be an effective classroom practitioner with strong behaviour management.
  • Be reflective, organised and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and build positive relationships with pupils.
  • Be adaptable and enthusiastic in a fast-paced school environment.

You should have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Geography or a closely related subject.
  • Experience teaching Geography at secondary level (ECTs are welcome to apply).
