EYFS Teaching Assistant

Primary School - SK5, Stockport
Full-time | Long-term

Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the SK5 area of Stockport, who are looking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to work within EYFS.

This is a full-time, long-term position, offering the opportunity to become a valued member of the school team and make a real difference during the crucial early years of a child's education.

The Role:

  • Supporting children across the EYFS setting

  • Working alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive learning

  • Providing small group and 1:1 support where required

  • Assisting with observations, assessments, and the EYFS framework

  • Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has previous experience working within EYFS

  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and framework

  • Is patient, caring, and enthusiastic about early years education

  • Can work effectively as part of a team

  • Holds a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
