Job Description
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking Psychology Graduates keen to apply psychological principles to support pupil learning and wellbeing in primary schools.
In this role you will:
Assist in monitoring and promoting social, emotional, and behavioural development
Support intervention groups (e.g., emotional literacy, resilience programmes)
Work alongside SENCOs to implement strategies informed by psychological theory
Observe and record pupil behaviour and engagement with targeted tasks
Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils needing social-emotional assistance
Contribute to reflective practice and develop insight into child development
Ideal candidate:
Degree in psychology or related discipline
Strong understanding of developmental, social, and educational psychology
Good organisational and reflective skills
Empathetic, attentive, and calm under pressure
Passion for supporting children to thrive socially and academically
