Job Description

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking Psychology Graduates keen to apply psychological principles to support pupil learning and wellbeing in primary schools.

In this role you will:

  • Assist in monitoring and promoting social, emotional, and behavioural development

  • Support intervention groups (e.g., emotional literacy, resilience programmes)

  • Work alongside SENCOs to implement strategies informed by psychological theory

  • Observe and record pupil behaviour and engagement with targeted tasks

  • Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils needing social-emotional assistance

  • Contribute to reflective practice and develop insight into child development

Ideal candidate:

  • Degree in psychology or related discipline

  • Strong understanding of developmental, social, and educational psychology

  • Good organisational and reflective skills

  • Empathetic, attentive, and calm under pressure

  • Passion for supporting children to thrive socially and academically
