Teaching Assistant - Level 2 - SEND Resource Base

📍 Ashton, Tameside

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Ashton area of Tameside. This is a long-term role based within the school's SEND Resource Base, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a nurturing school environment where your contribution will make a meaningful difference to pupils' education, confidence, and development. For the right candidate, this role has the potential to lead to a permanent school contract.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

  • Have previous experience supporting children with SEND, ideally within a resource base or small-group setting

  • Be patient, empathetic, and resilient

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to helping pupils reach their full potential
