A busy and well-organised secondary school in Hounslow is seeking a committed Science Technician to support its science department with practical lesson preparation and laboratory management.

What the Role Involves

You will work closely with teaching staff to ensure lessons run smoothly, equipment is maintained, and health and safety standards are met at all times.

Key Tasks

  • Setting up and clearing away practical science equipment
  • Supporting Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons
  • Maintaining laboratory safety and organisation
  • Monitoring stock levels and ordering resources
  • Maintaining equipment and reporting faults
  • Assisting with demonstrations and experiments
  • Following safeguarding and school procedures
