Pay: Up to £232.56 per day (depending on experience)
Key Stages: KS3 & KS4

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated History Teacher to join one of our client secondary schools in Wigan on a supply basis, starting immediately. This role is expected to last for a minimum of one month, with a strong possibility of extension for the right candidate.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Teaching History across KS3 and KS4
  • Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
  • Assessing and tracking pupil progress
  • Maintaining high standards of classroom management
  • Working collaboratively within the Humanities department

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a History Teacher who:

  • Holds QTS (or equivalent UK teaching qualification)
  • Has experience teaching History in UK secondary schools
  • Is confident teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Has strong classroom management skills
  • Is reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic about teaching
  • Is available to start immediately

ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply.
