Year 4 Class Teacher
Feltham, Hounslow | February Half Term Start | Full-Time | Long-Term Until End of Academic Year and Beyond

A welcoming 2-form entry primary school in Feltham is seeking a committed Year 4 Teacher to join their KS2 team from February half term on a long-term basis, initially until the end of the academic year, with strong potential to continue beyond.

This is a great opportunity for either a confident ECT or an experienced teacher looking for a stable role in a supportive school with clear systems and collaborative planning.

The Role

As Year 4 Teacher, you will:

  • Take full class responsibility for a Year 4 class

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum

  • Differentiate effectively to meet a range of abilities, including some SEN needs

  • Work closely with your parallel Year 4 teacher to share planning and resources

  • Use assessment to inform teaching and track pupil progress

  • Attend staff meetings, parent consultations and school training

The school is looking for someone who can maintain high expectations, build positive relationships and provide consistency for the class.

Requirements

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold UK QTS

  • Have experience teaching in KS2 (Year 3-6)

  • Demonstrate secure curriculum knowledge

  • Be confident managing behaviour and supporting mixed-ability learners

  • Work well as part of a team

  • Be able to commit from February half term through to July, with potential to extend

Strong ECTs will be considered, and the school has experience supporting early career teachers alongside experienced staff.
