The Impact Academy

The Impact Academy is our structured training programme designed to equip you with the skills, confidence, and commercial awareness needed to succeed as a Recruitment Consultant. From day one, you'll receive hands-on training and continuous support.

The Role

In your first year, you will:

  • Source, interview, and manage candidates for temporary and permanent education roles
  • Create professional CV profiles and candidate summaries for client marketing
  • Work closely with experienced sales teams to maximise placements
  • Manage your desk in line with weekly targets and KPIs
  • Earn commission at every stage of your progression

Training, Support & Mentorship

You'll be fully supported by:

  • A dedicated Team Manager
  • An experienced internal training team
  • A mentor to guide your development
  • Exposure to some of the most successful consultants in the education recruitment sector

Career Progression

Following your first year, you'll move onto a dedicated Sales Desk, where you'll receive advanced training in:

  • Business development
  • Client relationship management
  • Margin negotiation
  • Impact sales training
  • Safeguarding and compliance
  • Managing challenging conversations
  • Customer service and time management

Many Impact Academy graduates go on to become top-billing consultants within their first year in sales.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for motivated individuals with a strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude. You may be particularly suited to this role if you have experience in:

  • Education or teaching (including ex-teachers)
  • Sales or business development
  • Recruitment or resourcing
  • Hospitality or customer-facing roles
  • Fast-paced, target-driven environments

No prior recruitment experience is required - attitude, ambition, and resilience are key.
