Job Description

About the role: Provide structured classroom and breakout support for students with autism and communication needs, building independence over time.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement communication-friendly strategies and visual supports

Deliver bespoke interventions agreed with the SENCO and therapists

Reduce barriers through regulation routines and predictable structures

Record progress against individual targets for reviews

Requirements:

Experience supporting ASD/SLCN (school, care or community)

Patient, consistent and reflective approach

Willingness to undertake CPD (e.g., TEACCH, Social Stories, Zones of Regulation)
