Are you a creative and enthusiastic Art & Design teacher looking to inspire the next generation of young artists?
We're supporting several excellent secondary schools across Northampton that are seeking a passionate Art & Design teacher to join their departments from March or April 2026.
Whether your expertise lies in Fine Art, Photography, Textiles, Digital Art, Sculpture, or Graphic Design, this is a fantastic opportunity to guide students as they explore their creativity, develop skills, and express themselves through art.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and practical Art & Design lessons for KS3 and KS4 students
Encourage students to experiment, take creative risks, and develop their artistic voice
Support pupils in building both technical skills and creative confidence
Create a safe, inspiring, and well-organised classroom or studio environment
Collaborate with a motivated and creative Art department
Who We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Experience teaching Art & Design in UK secondary schools
Confidence teaching at least one specialism within Art & Design
Excellent organisational, communication, and classroom management skills
A genuine passion for fostering creativity and inspiring young artists
