A welcoming school in Northampton is looking to appoint a committed School Bus Driver for an ongoing contract starting as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver who enjoys routine, responsibility, and supporting students with their daily journeys to and from school.

With a structured 5-hour working day split between morning and afternoon shifts, this role offers consistency and a great work-life balance.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Safely transporting students to and from school

  • Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks

  • Ensuring full compliance with safeguarding and road safety procedures

  • Maintaining a professional, friendly, and calm manner with students and staff

  • Collecting and returning the bus to the school site each day

Working Hours:

Morning Shift: 6:30am start (approx. 2.5 hours)
Afternoon Shift: 3:30pm - 6:00pm
Total: 5 hours per day

On-site parking is available, and you will be able to park your own vehicle at the school during your shift.

We're Looking For:

  • A valid D1 driving licence

  • A valid CPC card (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)

  • An up-to-date DBS check

  • Excellent punctuality and reliability
