Are you a creative and passionate Media Teacher looking for your next opportunity in the Kettering area? Tradewind Recruitment is working with a number of supportive and forward-thinking secondary schools across Kettering and the wider Northamptonshire region, seeking an enthusiastic Media specialist to join their teams.
The Role:
We are looking for a qualified Media Teacher to deliver engaging and inspiring lessons at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable). You will be responsible for planning, delivering and assessing high-quality lessons that develop students' analytical, creative and technical media skills.
Key responsibilities include:
Teaching Media Studies across Key Stages 3 and 4 (A-Level experience advantageous)
Planning differentiated lessons that stretch and challenge all learners
Assessing and tracking student progress in line with school policies
Contributing to curriculum development within the department
Supporting extracurricular media projects and enrichment activities
The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A degree in Media Studies or a related subject
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for media education
Excellent classroom management skills
A commitment to raising attainment and student engagement
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
