Are you a dedicated and forward-thinking IT Teacher looking for your next opportunity in the Kettering area? Tradewind Recruitment is working with a number of supportive and progressive secondary schools across Kettering and the wider Northamptonshire region, seeking an enthusiastic IT specialist to join their teams.
The Role:
We are looking for a qualified IT Teacher to deliver engaging and innovative lessons at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable). You will be responsible for planning, delivering and assessing high-quality lessons that develop students' digital literacy, computational thinking and practical IT skills.
Key responsibilities include:
Teaching IT and/or Computing across Key Stages 3 and 4 (A-Level experience advantageous)
Planning differentiated lessons that stretch and challenge all learners
Assessing and tracking student progress in line with school policies
Supporting curriculum development within the IT/Computing department
Promoting safe and responsible use of technology
The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A degree in IT, Computing, or a related subject
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for technology education
Excellent classroom management skills
A commitment to raising attainment and digital competence
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
