About the Role

Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting Level 2 Teaching Assistants to work in schools across Kettering. These roles are ideal for enthusiastic and reliable TAs who enjoy supporting pupils in their learning and development.

Opportunities are available across a range of settings, including mainstream and SEN environments, depending on experience and preference.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support teaching and learning within the classroom

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils

  • Assist pupils with additional learning or behavioural needs

  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Support behaviour management and engagement

  • Work closely with teachers and support staff

Requirements

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

  • Previous experience working with children or young people

  • A positive, patient, and proactive approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
