Tradewind Recruitment is working with several progressive secondary schools in Northampton seeking a motivated and dedicated French Teacher to join their team from April or September 2026. This full-time role offers long-term supply or a permanent contract for the right candidate.
These schools place high value on Modern Foreign Languages, aiming to deliver engaging, high-quality French lessons that develop fluency, confidence, and cultural awareness in students.
The Role:
Deliver high-quality French lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 in some schools)
Inspire students to develop language skills, curiosity, and cultural understanding
Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners
Contribute to a collaborative and supportive MFL department
Participate in wider school life, including enrichment activities and cultural events
About You:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of the French GCSE curriculum (A-Level experience advantageous)
Confident classroom presence with effective behaviour management
Genuine enthusiasm for language learning and student progress
Open to ECTs and experienced teachers
