Location: Northampton
Start Date: April 2026
Contract Type: Full-Time | Long-Term | Potential for Permanent Placement
Daily Rate: £100-£160 (depending on experience and responsibilities)

Whether your degree is in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or another science-related field, this role offers a great opportunity to develop your confidence and teaching skills within a supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the delivery of Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Helping students grasp scientific ideas through practical activities and clear explanations
- Encouraging curiosity, analytical thinking, and problem-solving
- Supporting classroom management with guidance from experienced teachers
- Assisting with lesson preparation, marking, and assessments
- Taking part in training and wider school activities
We're Looking For Candidates Who:
- Hold a degree in a Science-related subject (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Biomedical Science)
- Have a genuine interest in education and supporting young people
- Are confident communicators with a positive and enthusiastic approach
- Are adaptable, proactive, and open to learning and feedback
- May be considering a future route into teacher training (PGCE, SCITT, or QTS Apprenticeship)
- Hold, or are willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
