Science Teacher - Northampton

Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire

These opportunities are available as either permanent roles or long-term placements, offering flexibility depending on your experience and career plans.

This is a great opportunity to become part of a strong Science department within schools that value engaging teaching, collaboration, and high standards of learning.

The Role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on your experience

  • Encourage curiosity and understanding through practical experiments and interactive learning

  • Differentiate lessons to support students of varying abilities, including those with SEND

  • Contribute to departmental planning, assessments, and curriculum development

  • Support enrichment activities such as STEM clubs, science fairs, and educational trips

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

  • Has strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or general Science

  • Demonstrates confident classroom management and the ability to engage learners

  • Is passionate about raising student achievement and fostering an interest in Science

  • Works well as part of a collaborative department and contributes to school life
