About the Role

This rewarding position involves taking full responsibility for a Year 1 class, delivering engaging and creative lessons that support early learning and development. You will work closely with the school's leadership and KS1 team to promote positive learning experiences and contribute to a warm, nurturing environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Year 1 experience highly desirable)
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Ability to plan, deliver and assess high‑quality lessons
  • Someone reliable, proactive, and passionate about early education
  • Must have a good level of understanding phonics
