Location: Colne, Lancashire

Salary: £168.80 - ££261.78 (Dependent on experience)

Contract Type: Full-Time, 5 Days Per Week

The Opportunity

This role is based within a highly supportive Alternative Provision (AP) catering to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), with a specific focus on Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Every pupil at the school has an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP).

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a creative and engaging English curriculum tailored to small groups of learners (KS3/KS4).
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual learning requirements outlined in student EHCPs.
  • Manage classroom behaviour with empathy, patience, and professional de-escalation techniques.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive environment where students feel supported to re-engage with education.

Requirements (Qualified or Unqualified)
