Whether you are a Qualified Teacher (QTS/QTLS) or an Unqualified Teacher with significant subject mastery and a passion for social mobility, we offer a platform where you can truly innovate.

Flexible Curriculum: Adapt your delivery to meet the diverse Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs of our learners.
Part-Time Balance: We value work-life balance and are offering this role on a part-time basis, with specific days to be discussed at interview.
Fair Pay: We believe expertise should be rewarded. This role is Paid to Scale, ensuring your remuneration reflects your experience and impact.
What We Are Looking For
Subject Passion: A deep love for Humanities and the ability to make it relevant to young people in Blackburn.
Resilience: The ability to connect with "hard to reach" students and maintain a positive, calm classroom.
Adaptability: Experience a strong desire to learn-working with SEMH, trauma-informed practices, or behavioural challenges.
Local Commitment: A dedicated professional who wants to make a difference in the Lancashire community.
Why Join Our Blackburn Provision?
Paid to Scale: We match your current pay scale to ensure a seamless transition.
Therapeutic Environment: Work in a setting that priorities the holistic wellbeing of both staff and students.
Professional Growth: Access to specialist SEND and AP training that you won't find in mainstream schools.
