Supply Teacher - Corby

Position: Supply Teacher (Secondary Schools)
Contract: Flexible / Day-to-day / Long-term

Salary: Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience)

We are currently recruiting for enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to work in a range of secondary schools in the Corby area. We work with a number of supportive and well-regarded schools who require reliable supply staff for daily cover, short-term placements, and long-term roles.

The Role

As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure students remain engaged with their learning in the absence of the regular teacher.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering lessons across your subject specialism or general cover

  • Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies

  • Ensuring a positive and productive learning environment

  • Following school safeguarding and behaviour procedures

  • Providing feedback to the school at the end of the day

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching in UK secondary schools (preferred)

  • Strong classroom management skills

  • Flexible and professional approach

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
