Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a motivated and enthusiastic English Teacher to work in a secondary school in the Corby area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed teacher to join a supportive school and make a real impact on students' progress and achievement.

This role is due to start soon and is available on a long-term supply basis, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable but not essential)
* Prepare students for GCSE examinations
* Mark work and provide clear feedback to support progress
* Maintain strong classroom management and a positive learning environment
* Work collaboratively with the English department and wider school staff

The ideal candidate will:
* Hold QTS, PGCE, or a recognised teaching qualification (or equivalent experience)
* Have experience teaching English in a secondary school setting
* Be passionate about literature and language
* Have excellent behaviour management skills
* Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one)
