Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Drama Teacher to work in a welcoming secondary school in the Corby area. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to join a supportive department and inspire students through creative and engaging lessons.

The role is due to start as soon as possible / September (delete as appropriate) and can be offered on a long-term supply or permanent basis for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable but not essential)

  • Plan and prepare engaging schemes of work in line with the national curriculum

  • Encourage creativity, confidence, and performance skills in students

  • Support school productions, performances, and extracurricular activities where possible

  • Maintain strong classroom management and promote positive behaviour for learning

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching Drama in a UK secondary school

  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the performing arts

  • Excellent classroom management skills

  • A flexible and positive approach to teaching
