Job Advertisement: Drama Teacher - Secondary School (Corby)
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and creative Drama Teacher to join our successful secondary school in Corby, Northamptonshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher to inspire students and develop their confidence, creativity, and performance skills across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5 for a suitably experienced candidate.
About the Role
The successful candidate will:
Plan and deliver engaging Drama lessons to students aged 11-16 (KS3-KS4).
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can participate and achieve.
Organise and support school productions, performances, and extracurricular drama activities.
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment and events.
Work collaboratively within the Performing Arts department and across the school.
About You
We are looking for a teacher who:
Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
Has experience teaching Drama in a secondary school setting (ECTs welcome to apply).
Is passionate about the performing arts and committed to high standards of teaching and learning.
Has strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students of all abilities.
Is willing to contribute to extracurricular activities and school productions.
