Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Teacher to work in a welcoming secondary school in the Corby area. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and enthusiastic educator to inspire students and promote a love of dance across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for KS5 depending on experience).

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality dance lessons across a range of styles

  • Plan and assess student progress in line with the national curriculum

  • Encourage creativity, confidence, and performance skills

  • Support extracurricular activities such as school productions or dance clubs

  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification (or equivalent experience)

  • Have experience teaching dance at secondary level

  • Be confident in classroom and behaviour management

  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for performing arts

  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
