PMLD Teaching Assistant - SEN Schools
Flexible / Supply Work Across the South West

Tradewind Recruitment is a leading education agency, specialising in SEND placements. We are currently recruiting PMLD Teaching Assistants to work on a flexible, supply basis across specialist SEN schools in the South West.

This is a rewarding role supporting children and young people with profound and multiple learning difficulties in safe, nurturing environments.

The Role

  • Support pupils with complex needs on a 1:1 or small group basis
  • Assist with personal care, including feeding, toileting and mobility
  • Facilitate sensory learning and communication (e.g. PECS, Makaton, AAC)
  • Follow EHCPs and support therapeutic interventions
  • Work closely with teachers, therapists and support staff

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN/PMLD
  • Comfortable with personal care responsibilities
