ASC Teaching Assistant - SEN Schools
Flexible / Supply Work Across the South West

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking ASC Teaching Assistants to work flexibly across specialist SEN schools in the South West.

This rewarding role involves supporting children and young people (ages 2-19) with Autism and associated communication and behavioural needs.

The Role

  • Support pupils with ASC in their learning and development
  • Work closely with teachers to deliver engaging activities
  • Help develop social skills and positive relationships
  • Provide a calm, safe and nurturing environment
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils

The Ideal Candidate

  • Passion for supporting young people with additional needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience with ASC (PECS/Makaton desirable but not essential)
