Learning Support Assistant - SEN School | Kingston and Richmond | Immediate Start

We are currently recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist SEN schools in Kingston and Richmond, supporting pupils with a range of complex needs, including Autism, learning difficulties, communication needs, and SEMH.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a highly supportive and structured environment where staff play a vital role in helping pupils develop independence, confidence, and essential life skills.
The Role:
- Support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Assist with delivering tailored learning activities
- Support pupils with communication, behaviour, and emotional regulation
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff
- Help create a safe, engaging, and structured learning environment
- Provide personal care where required
We are looking for individuals who:
- Have experience working with children or young people with SEN (desirable but not essential)
- Are patient, resilient, and nurturing in their approach
- Are confident supporting pupils with complex needs and behaviours
- Have strong communication and teamwork skills
- Are committed, reliable, and passionate about making a difference
Essential Requirements:
- Must hold or be willing to obtain a Child and Adult DBS
- Must be able to commit to a full-time, long-term role
