Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Ashton. This role will involve providing 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs, alongside general classroom assistance.

The Role

• Provide tailored 1:1 support for pupils with Special Educational Needs
• Assist the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities
• Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience working with children with SEN
• A degree or relevant qualification (desirable)
• A patient, supportive, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Essential Requirements

• An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
  (DBS cost refunded after 20 days worked)
• A full 10-year employment/education history
• At least two professional references (including your most recent employer)
• Legal right to work in the UK
