What You'll Be Doing

As a supply PE Teacher, you'll be covering lessons that are already planned, stepping in to keep students active, focused, and engaged. Every day can be different - from core PE lessons to practical sport sessions across a range of year groups.

You'll be helping schools maintain consistency in learning while ensuring students stay motivated, safe, and participating in sport.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-prepared PE lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Lead and supervise a variety of practical sports activities
• Keep students engaged, active, and on task throughout lessons
• Manage behaviour effectively and follow individual school policies
• Adapt quickly to new school environments and routines
• Ensure all activities are delivered safely and inclusively
• Provide brief and clear feedback to staff when required
• Follow safeguarding procedures at all times

What We're Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification
• Experience teaching PE at secondary level (KS3/KS4)
• Strong presence in the classroom and confident behaviour management
• Comfortable delivering a range of sports and physical activities
• A flexible, reliable, and positive approach to supply work
• Able to build quick rapport with students and staff
• Professional attitude with strong communication skills
• ECTs are welcome to apply and gain valuable experience
