Tradewind are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Tameside on a full-time basis from the end of May.

You will take full responsibility for a Year 3 class through to the end of the academic year. This is a full-time position, paid in line MPS1-MPS6. The school prides itself on its nurturing ethos, strong community values, and commitment to supporting every child to achieve their full potential. There is a clear focus on high-quality teaching, pupil well being, and creating a positive, engaging learning environment where all children feel valued and supported.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience teaching within KS2, with a secure understanding of the Primary National Curriculum
  • Confidence in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons across core subjects
  • A nurturing, inclusive approach and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families
  • Experience using schemes such as White Rose Maths and structured reading approaches
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a calm, purposeful learning environment
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset

Essential requirements:

  • QTS (or an equivalent teaching qualification)
  • Recent experience teaching in KS2, supported by strong references
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Right to work in the UK
