School Caretaker - Stockport (Immediate Start)
Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced and reliable School Caretaker to join a welcoming school in the Stockport area. This is a part-time position with split shift hours, starting immediately.
The Role:
As a School Caretaker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school site. The position requires flexibility, as the hours will be split between morning and afternoon/evening shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Opening and securing the school premises
- Carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs
- Ensuring the school grounds are safe, clean, and well-maintained
- Monitoring site security and health & safety compliance
- Liaising with contractors and school staff when required
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Site Supervisor/Caretaker within a school setting is essential
- Strong understanding of health and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- A proactive and hands-on approach
