Salary: £160 - £230 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, ongoing temporary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Teacher to join a welcoming primary school nursery in Wigan. This full-time role is scheduled to start this June and will continue on an ongoing basis, offering an excellent opportunity to make a lasting impact in a highly supportive Early Years setting.
The nursery is an integral part of a vibrant primary school that prides itself on its inclusive ethos. This year, the intake includes a number of wonderful children with various additional needs (SEN). We are looking for an educator who can bring patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for inclusive education to the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver a stimulating, play-based EYFS curriculum tailored to the needs of all learners.
Adapt learning spaces and activities to ensure children with SEN (including communication, sensory, and behavioural needs) are fully included and supported.
Work closely with the school's SENCo, experienced EYFS Teaching Assistants, and external agencies to implement individual support plans.
Track, assess, and record children's development, providing a safe and nurturing environment for them to reach their milestones.
Build strong, trusting relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child's progress and well-being.
What We Are Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an Early Years specialist qualification with primary teaching experience.
Proven experience working within an EYFS setting (Nursery or Reception).
Strong experience supporting children with SEN (e.g., ASD, ADHD, speech and language delays, or global developmental delay).
A patient, warm, and resilient nature with excellent behaviour management strategies rooted in positive reinforcement.
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or the willingness to apply for a new one).
