Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting caring and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse Assistants to work within one of our valued partner SEN schools in Corby. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with nursery, early years, or childcare experience who are looking to transfer their skills into a highly rewarding specialist education setting.

The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs, including High Functioning Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Physical Disabilities, and Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). Many students require consistent emotional support, sensory regulation, and assistance with communication and daily routines, making nursery and early years experience incredibly valuable within this environment.

As a Nursery Nurse Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to help create a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning atmosphere for students of varying ages and abilities. Your role may include supporting sensory play, encouraging communication and social interaction, assisting with personal care where required, and helping pupils to build confidence and independence throughout the school day.

Candidates who have previously worked in nurseries, EYFS settings, childcare environments, or care-based roles often transition exceptionally well into SEN education due to their patience, adaptability, and understanding of developmental needs. The school is looking for compassionate and proactive individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young people with additional needs.
