Pay: Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience)

We are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Northampton that is seeking to appoint committed Teaching Assistants to join their team from September 2026. The school is ideally looking to appoint on a permanent basis; however, long-term supply and fixed-term contract arrangements will also be considered for the right candidate.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and keen to gain valuable experience supporting students in a classroom setting.

The Role

  • Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Working with students 1:1 and in small groups, including those with SEND or additional learning needs

  • Helping students remain focused, engaged, and motivated throughout lessons

  • Supporting positive behaviour and contributing to a calm, structured learning environment

  • Assisting with targeted interventions and academic support programmes

  • Encouraging students to build confidence, independence, and resilience

  • Contributing to wider pastoral and student support where required

  • Has experience working with children or young people (education, care, youth work, coaching, or similar-desirable but not essential)
