Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in a range of secondary schools across Corby. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced support staff, or individuals looking to build a career in education.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning by supervising classes during teacher absences. You will deliver pre-set work, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure students remain engaged and on task throughout the lesson.

The Role:

  • Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons and learning activities

  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

  • Support students in completing set work

  • Report back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Confidence managing groups of young people

  • A positive, adaptable, and professional approach

  • Experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)

  • A genuine interest in education and supporting student development
