Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Corby. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students in the ever-evolving world of technology, equipping them with the digital skills and computational thinking needed for future success.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 for suitably experienced applicants.

The Role:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons that engage and challenge students

  • Teach key topics including programming, algorithms, computer systems, cybersecurity, and digital literacy

  • Monitor, assess, and track student progress to ensure strong outcomes

  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular technology and coding activities

  • Support students in developing confidence and proficiency in digital technologies

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

  • Experience teaching Computer Science within a secondary school setting

  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for technology and innovation

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills

  • A commitment to raising attainment and supporting student achievement
