This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate engineering professional or qualified teacher to join a forward-thinking department dedicated to developing the next generation of engineers. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching and learning to post-16 students across a range of engineering qualifications, helping learners develop the technical knowledge, practical skills, and industry awareness required for successful careers in the engineering sector.

As an Engineering Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and creating an inclusive learning environment that promotes achievement and professional development. Depending on your background and expertise, you may teach subjects including Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing, Design Engineering, or related disciplines.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a teaching qualification such as PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or be willing to work towards one.
- Possess relevant engineering qualifications and/or industry experience.
- Have experience teaching or training learners within Further Education, apprenticeships, or industry settings.
- Demonstrate strong technical knowledge and a passion for engineering.
- Be able to engage and motivate learners of varying abilities and backgrounds.
- Have excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
