The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students both inside and outside the classroom. Working closely with teachers and pastoral teams, you will help create a positive learning environment where every student can thrive.

Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting students with their learning across a range of subjects
• Working with small groups or on a one-to-one basis
• Assisting students with additional learning needs
• Helping to manage classroom behaviour and engagement
• Supporting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities
• Encouraging student confidence, independence, and academic progress

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
• A positive, patient, and proactive attitude
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine passion for education and supporting student development
• The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
