Tradewind Recruitment is partnering with a forward-thinking secondary school in Corby to recruit a Graduate Science Teacher for an exciting teacher training pathway. This opportunity is designed for aspiring teachers who are eager to develop their classroom skills while working alongside experienced educators in a supportive school environment.

The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience within the Science department, supporting students across Biology, Chemistry and Physics while building the knowledge and confidence required to progress into teacher training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

• Work with students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups to improve attainment and confidence.

• Assist with practical investigations and classroom demonstrations.

• Help prepare lesson materials and laboratory resources.

• Support teachers with classroom management and student engagement.

• Contribute to intervention programmes designed to raise achievement in Science.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds a degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related Science subject.

• Has a genuine interest in pursuing a career in secondary Science teaching.

• Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Is enthusiastic, proactive and eager to learn from experienced teachers.

• Has previous experience working with young people, although this is not essential.
