Tradewind Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a school in North Nottingham in their search for a reliable, enthusiastic, and hardworking Caretaker to join their site team.

The Role

Working as part of the site team and reporting to the Site Manager and School Business Manager, you will be responsible for helping to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.

Duties may include:

• Carrying out daily cleaning duties across the school site
• Ensuring classrooms, communal areas, and facilities are maintained to a high standard
• Undertaking basic repairs and maintenance tasks
• Assisting with site security and opening/closing procedures
• Supporting the overall upkeep and presentation of the school grounds
• Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns promptly

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will be:

• Dependable, organised, and able to work independently
• Flexible and willing to support a variety of site duties
• Committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
• Positive, proactive, and a strong team player

Previous experience within cleaning, caretaking, maintenance, or facilities management is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided for the right candidate.
