Tradewind Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a school in North Nottinghamshire in their search for a reliable, enthusiastic, and hardworking Cleaner to join their site team.

The Role

Working as part of the facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the school site.

Duties may include:

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices and communal areas
  * Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
  * Cleaning and sanitising washrooms and welfare facilities
  * Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
  * Replenishing cleaning supplies and consumables
  * Ensuring cleaning equipment is stored safely and correctly
  * Reporting maintenance, safety or cleanliness concerns to the relevant staff member
  * Supporting with occasional deep cleaning during holiday periods

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will be:

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  * Able to work independently and manage their workload effectively
  * Committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  * Flexible and willing to support the wider facilities team when required
  * Friendly, professional and able to work within a school environment

Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential as full training can be provided for the right candidate.
