Science ECT - Secondary Teaching Opportunities in Liverpool
Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting Science ECTs for exciting opportunities within secondary schools across Liverpool.
Whether your specialism is Biology, Chemistry or Physics, we are working with a range of Liverpool schools looking for talented Early Career Teachers who are ready to inspire the next generation of scientists.
As a Science ECT in Liverpool, you will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, creating a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, practical investigation, and strong academic progress.
The successful candidate will:
- Be completing a PGCE or teacher training programme leading to QTS
- Have strong subject knowledge within Science
- Demonstrate effective classroom management skills
- Be passionate about student progress and achievement

Requirements:
To be considered, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Science, or due to achieve QTS by September 2026
- An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Full career history
- Two professional references, including your most recent placement
- Legal right to work in the UK
